  16. I'm glad to announce a NEW and very MUCH enhanced release of 'AddressAssist'
  17. (AA). Since its first published version, many new features have been added 
  18. - also due to many suggestions of the users, thank you! - to make AA
  19. one of the BEST address managment programs in the AMIGA world of computing!
  20. And more features will follow!

  22. AA ist designed to be a very easy to use, but yet powerful
  23. address managment program for use at work, at home, in clubs etc.

  26. Take a look at the some of the most important features:

  28.    * 14 field address database including 4 user definable text fields
  29.      (new in release 2: 2nd 'Name'-field and an all new 'Group'-field
  30.      to distinguish up to 10 address groups).

  32.    * Very nice and intuitive user interface based on MUI (which makes
  33.      it size and font sensible, 3.1 compatible)
  34.  
  35.    * Two types of database/record view: the database List view provides
  36.      easy overview and access while the record Form view enlights the
  37.      record's details

  39.    * Powerful printing-interface for output address lists and labels by
  40.      providing user definable and flexible output format: output text
  41.      style and format; new for release 2: user definable record field
  42.      ordering and field length definitions for list printing. Ability
  43.      to load and save specific printer setup.

  45.    * Ability to define selections. Selection may be printed and
  46.      exported separately. Powerful filters to define : field string
  47.      match and group match filters are provided for include, exclude or
  48.      toggle records to or from a selection.

  53.    * Flexible Import/Export filters for ASCII files with user definable

  94. address managment program and ** free from rights of thirds **, please sent 
  95. them to the author until 15 July 1995. The best icon will be used in program
  96. distribution, and of course the artist will get a licence for AddressAssist.

  102. Localized under WB2.1 and above. Built-in English language, german
  103. and norsk catalog translations as well as  empty catalog description
  104. file provided. Documentation in english and german.
  105. To spread AA all over the world, it would be nice to support as many languages
  106. as possible. If you are interested in providing a catalog file translation and 
  107. a short readme file for AddressAssist in your own language, please contact the
  108. author.

  130. be installed automatically on your system.
